Please check out the bullets below for information that is vital to understanding my expectations.
Agendas
- Check them daily. The students are required to write down their assignments every day if applicable. In addition to this page please sign up for Remind Me 101 homework texts.
- Please sign the agenda nightly so I know you are keeping track of what your child is expected to do.
Reading Homework
- You will likely have reading homework Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week. It will be as simple as reading a section of a book and responding to it as directed in their notebooks. Often, i send them home with explicit examples.
Behavior
We have lots of fun in my room, so I do not expect it to be silent. While I do not expect perfection (You will learn quickly that I am as zany, forgetful, and talkative as any of your children:) ), I do have high expectations. The kids will be held to a high standard. Respect and listening are vital. When kids listen and respect the teachers and their friends, it is amazing how quickly we function like a happy family.
